(Dec 2011) The 2011 Links Fore Kids Golf Tournament was a great success this year raising over $14K after all expenses were paid.  It was our first year to hold the event at the Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine. In addition to our record fundraising efforts, we also had a record number of golfers, 96, register for the event.  The 2012 event will be held on September 25th, 2012.  For more information, please visit the Links Fore Kids Charity Golf Tournament website.

(November 2011) Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my! Well not quite. If you've never been to the Shrine Circus you are missing out. Two dozen ConnecTeens enjoyed it this year. It was the first circus for most of them. Some experienced riding the Circus Fire Truck, some got to ride an elephant and others got to their faces painted. All of them enjoyed ring side seats.

Well, it is about time for an update. 2011 has been very busy and God continues to bless us despite our short falls. Royal Family Kids' Camp 2011 was incredible. The new facility was really nice, the scenery was beautiful, the volunteers were marvelous and the kids had a blast! Fishing, canoeing and swimming in the lake, dressing up like a princess and all the food you can eat, what else can you ask for. Oh, challenge courses, snow cones, hiking, smores, playing in the sprinklers and even a fashion show. We've already set the date for 2012, July 16-20. can't wait to get back.
